Netbook Reviews
Ok you might want a Netbook. So what is a Netbook
anyway? It is a tiny, light weight, low power consumption notebook. Oh, by the way did I mention that
Netbooks are cheap too. They are primary designed for people who want a small tiny notebook that is optimised for wireless communication that can access the Internet. A small
laptop designed just for Internet browsing and emailing.
They come fully functional with your choice of operating systems, Windows XP or
Linux. Most come in sizes between 7 to 11 inches, weighing less than 3 pounds. Windows Vista is not seen on them due to the OS being too resource intensive for these tiny
Netbooks.
Cool Tip: Netbooks craze all started in 2007 by Asus when they released to the public a tiny laptop
called ASUS Eee PC. It weighed in at around 2 pounds with a 7 inch screen. Something most people could
hold in the palm of their hand, and browse the Internet with while emailing their friends. It really began
catching on during mid 2008 and has pick up steam ever since.
Here are a few of the most popular Netbooks on the market today:
